Ebony Hills

about

I was unemployed and looking for a day job and after submitting 100 resumes I was very discouraged. So I jumped into an online virtual world called There. I started meeting people and realized I was broke in the virtual world too, and I was having a hard time using real cash for stuff that wasn't real.

I met a girl that teleported me to a house she made. There were several floors and even though it all looked digitized it was designed so well it felt real.

We went back outside and she lifted her hands and started making an outdoor dance floor (lit up tiles, dj booth, and all), The entire experience was very strange and oddly inspiring, but we'll keep this between us, ok?

The location she teleported me to is the name of this song.

about

Ruben Massachusetts

Got into folk in college after seeing Leo Kottke, Christopher Williams, and Ellis Paul live. Got into the Drum&Bass genre thanks to WERS late late night show where DJ Food proved that even the rhythms of toothbrushing can enhance a song.

After college I listened more to Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Loess, Riton, and Beanfield for more inspiration. Mainly use Fruity loops for electronic songs.
