I was chatting with my new friend Dante from Miami, Flo-rida who hadn't heard my music. I decided to send him a compilation of the music I had made, but I wondered, how do you condense 10 years of work into one album?

Every song, for me, made sense in the albums they were made. Making a "meta mix" was a bit out of my league.

I sat down and did my best to piece together this album called The Decade.

It has the tracks my friends and listeners have told me are on their playlists. It also has 5 new tracks I have quietly released as singles.

Hey Dante, this isn't a sum of the years I made this, but is more like the cliff notes of the times where I stepped away from the busyness of life to make music. I hope you enjoy it.

Got into folk in college after seeing Leo Kottke, Christopher Williams, and Ellis Paul live. Got into the Drum&Bass genre thanks to WERS late late night show where DJ Food proved that even the rhythms of toothbrushing can enhance a song.

After college I listened more to Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Loess, Riton, and Beanfield for more inspiration. Mainly use Fruity loops for electronic songs. ... more
